Pupils will appear in "TWOPENCE TO CROSS THE MERSEY" at the Liverpool Empire Theatre between 9th-21st April 2007.
Jack Harrison, Sam Smith and Jack Kauffman-Harding will shortly appear in the Birkenhead Operatic Society's production of "OLIVER" also at the Empire Theatre, Liverpool between 9th-12th May 2007.
A trip to the Liverpool Playhouse to see "MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING" will take place later this month for senior pupils in the Drama Department. Pupils from the Drama Department will also be presenting a One Act Play "THE RISE AND FALL OF MACBETH" at the Leverhulme Drama Festival on Tuesday 17th April 2007.

80 members of the Performers' Childrens Choir appeared at the Liverpool Empire Theatre between 5th March 2007 - 10th March 2007 in Bill Kenwright's production of "JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT"
Pupils from the Drama Department also took part in the Liverpool Speech and Drama Festival at St George's Hall. Well done to all those who took part and congratulations to those who won medals, trophies and cups!
35 pupils attended a performance of "42ND STREET".
HIGHLIGHTS: 2006
Theatre trips this year have included a visit to the Everyman Theatre in December 2006 to see "JACK AND THE BEANSTALK" and a visit in February 2006 to see "STARLIGHT EXPRESS". Trips in 2005 included a visit to the Everyman Theatre to see "CINDERELLA", the Liverpool Playhouse to see "THE TEMPEST", a visit to the Liverpool Empire to see "MY FAIR LADY", and a visit to the Playhouse to see "THE CUT".
Sinead Thompson, Niamh Thompson, Danielle Flynn and Antonia Siega appeared in "PETER PAN" in Southport over Christmas. Grace Galloway appeared in "SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS" at The Royal Court, Liverpool and Niamh Thompson and Danielle Flynn appeared in "CINDERELLA" in Runcorn in January 2007.
Joel Davies has recently finished filming three projects. He plays Daniel Archer in "CRACKER" (ITV1) which will be screened in Autumn 2006. Joel also appears alongside Hugo Speer as Jake King in the new BBC TV series "SORTED" which will go out in the Autumn. Joel can also be seen alongside Jemma Redgrave as young Brian in the ITV film "COLD BLOOD 2" which will be broadcast at the end of the year. Joel has recently appeared in ITV 1's "THE ROYAL"
Sean Harrison, Sian Allen, Jack Harrison, Christopher Kerr, Jack Kenny, Niamh Thompson, Jessica Bernstein, Christopher Hannah and Lucia Martin appeared in "TWOPENCE TO CROSS THE MERSEY" at the Liverpool Empire Theatre in October and November 2005. The production returns to the Liverpool Empire Theatre in April 2007.
Amy Davin appeared in "CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG" at the Palace Theatre, Manchester for "CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG" in Autumn 2006 at the Liveroool Empire Theatre. Sam played the part of Jeremy (one of the two principal children’s parts). Rebecca, who also took the lead in The Secret Garden in June 2006, was understudy/cover for Jemima as well as being part of the ensemble.
Jack and Elizabeth were also part of the Ensemble.
Christian Flynn and Megan Barton appeared in "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" in Southport from December 15th 2005 until 7th January 2006.
Congratulations to Jack Kenny and Oliver Kennedy who have both won places in the National Youth Theatre. Maria Kolondwel from the London School also won a place in the NYT. Well done to all. Congratulations also to Hannah Mangan who won Best Newcomer at the Liverpool Speech and Drama Festival and was selected to perform in the Festival Winners’ Concert.
HIGHLIGHTS: 2005
Our production of "HAMLET THE MURDER MYSTERY" won the Wirral News Shield at the Leverhulme Festival in April 2005. Cast members also picked up awards for Best Actor and Best Actress. Our production of "THREE MURDERS, A SUICIDE AND A NEAR MISS" won the Wirral News Shield at the Leverhulme Festival in Port Sunlight in April 2004. Amber Orr also won Best Actress.
