Singing Classes
Singing classes are offered for ages 7-19. For under 7s, please see our Young Performers classes. We cover a wide range of repetoire with a mix of popular, modern and musical theatre songs. In singing, we teach boys and girls in separate classes. We also cover:
- developing the voice
- expanding the vocal range
- articulation
- performance technique
- festival and examination work
- show work
Students will learn how to look after their voices.
Students will develop their voice, rhythm and technique. Singing develops musical awareness and appreciation. Pupils aged 11+ have the opportunity to take Trinity College examinations. There is the opportunity for pupils intending to audition for Musical Theatre courses to take private classes (subject to availability).
There are regular performance opportunities and pupils have appeared in a wide range of professional touring productions - most recently: South Pacific, Doctor Dolittle, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita and Whistle Down The Wind.
